Removing Masking From The New Wood Tutorial
ABOUT THE MATERIALS USED
Wood - The wood selected for this shop is cut at 1/16” thick. This thin of wood is prone to warp slightly. An adhesive has been applied to the back of the wood to help secure it to any paper project. To prevent flash marks from the laser on the front of the wood, I have appied a paper masking that should be removed prior to use on a project.
Each wood piece is different. Some have knots that may seem like mistakes in the design, but actually add character to the wood. I can't predict where the knots will show up in the design because they are hidden under the masking.
MDF - The MDF selected for this shop is cut at 1/8” thick, for now. There is not a masking on the front nor an adhesive on the back. I use Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive to secure it to my paper projects.
Acrylic - The acrylic selected for this shop can either be 1/8” or 1/16” thick, depending on the style. Some of the acrylic comes with a paper masking on the front. Some of the acrylic comes with a paper masking on the back. None of the acrylic comes with adhesive on the back. I use glue dots to secure my acrylic to my paper projects.
RETURN POLICY
No returns or exchanges accepted on monthly embellishment boxes, digital content, or classes. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for wood veneer items that may appear flawed at first glance, as these imperfections are often knots in the wood.

SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping costs are all calculated on a flat rate shipping system depending on weight and starting at $5.00 for US shipping and $10.00 for international shipping. I reserve the right to cancel and refund any order, for any reason. If for any reason you’d like your package shipped faster than these flat-rate prices, reach out and I can invoice you for a faster shipping rate.
Please note that shipping times vary after order has been received and within which orders were received. I aim to get orders sent out within 3 days, but I am a small, one-person business and it may take longer to pull orders during busy periods. Delivery times are also subject to delays in local postal services.
If you have registered your email in my system, you should receive an emailed copy of your tracking number. Also, if you purchase using Paypal, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Please check for those emails prior to reaching out for shipping questions. Every moment I spend answering emails and messages, is one less moment I spend on getting your orders out the door.

Please ensure that if you are purchasing a presale item you understand that these items will not be shipped immediately—they are a preorder for a future shipment to accurately order product quantities.
Going forward, all items placed in the same order will be held and shipped together unless other arrangements are made directly with MK.
